You only need 2 ingredients to get this delicious vegan date spread, delicious on a sandwich, pancakes, or stir it into your batter to sweeten, dilute it a bit with some extra almond milk and pour it over an ice cream or pastry.
100 g Medjoul dates (Approx. 5)(Make sure the dates are not sugared!)
175 ml unsweetened almond milk.
De-seed the dates.
Boil the Medjoul dates in the almond milk for about 20 min.
Until a thick mass is formed.
Let this cool down.
Blend well to a homogeneous mass.
(Be sure to use a blender or hand blender that is certainly powerful enough for this, otherwise the spread will remain stringy.)
Put this in a jar and let it cool in the fridge.
